The Liberty Elementary School District has launched new district and school websites. The websites can still be found at liberty25.org, but will have new designs and updated navigation. With the opening of Blue Horizons, we took the opportunity to update and redesign our websites based on analytics and current web trends.
The websites have also been designed to make it easier for “school shoppers” and families transitioning into our schools to learn more about our district and schools. We hope the changes will make it easier for families, students, staff and community members to access the information they need most.
New Features
The new websites were designed to make information easily accessible for all users. We are excited about the following new pages and features:
-
Students, Families and Staff Hub – along the top of every page on the district and school websites is where you can find quick links for students, families and staff. These hubs include the most accessed family/student/staff pages on our websites, including breakfast and lunch menus, calendars, contact information, digital resources, school news and more.
- Staff Testimonials – Hear from our staff about what makes Liberty Elementary School District a special place to teach. Check out what our staff say.
-
Mobile Friendly Design – We know many people are viewing our websites from their mobile device, which is why we designed the new websites thinking about mobile first. Like our current websites, the new websites will be responsive to the device they are viewed on. The new website also features a simple, clean design that will help users navigate the websites with ease.
-
Showcase Our Schools and Programs – The new websites feature several new sections including, “Signature Schools” and “Signature Programs.” These sections are designed to help students and families new to the district or transitioning into a new school familiarize themselves with the building and what each school has to offer.
-
Translations – Families can toggle the language option at the bottom right corner of the page to translate the website.
-
Accessibility – The o better serve people in our community with disabilities and to comply with new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) website accessibility laws.
