BUCKEYE, Ariz. – During the July and August Governing Board Meetings for the Liberty Elementary School District, board members approved major policies and resolutions to vault Liberty ahead of other Valley school districts. The board voted on topics including Title IX, Policies IGA (Curriculum Development) and IGD (Curriculum Adoption) pertaining to curriculum and parental involvement, math scores, new customer service standards, and a revised discipline matrix in the student handbook.

“Our board has worked tirelessly to make sure that we are providing the absolute best for our student body, and we continued that tonight by approving these policies,” said LESD Board President Michael Todd. “I have said since day one, that we are going to be the best elementary school district, and this helps push us in that direction. These were very important issues to the community, staff, and board.”
