Newly elected Liberty Elementary School District #25 Governing Board Member Sarah Schmidt took the Oath of Office on Wednesday, December 17 at a ceremony in downtown Phoenix.

Following the presentation, the Board selected the sixth option. This option brings the Vista De Montana community from Blue Horizons Elementary to Loretta Zumbro Elementary. The main school boundary lines run from Citrus to Jackrabbit (East to West) and from Buckeye to Yuma (North to South).

The Liberty Elementary School District school board unanimously approved current Blue Horizons Elementary School principal Bruce Nieminski as the planning principal for the new Loretta Zumbro Elementary School. Nieminski will move into the full-time principal position for the 2025-26 school year.
