Signature Programs

Liberty Elementary integrates core content standards with agriculture literacy to promote life-long nutrition, environmental sustainability, and agribusiness career exploration. Through strong partnership with the agricultural community and high school career and technical education programs, students explore pathways for the future.

Las Brisas Academy integrates core content standards with performing and visual arts standards to engage students both artistically and cognitively, and to develop a life-long appreciation for the arts. Additionally, the dual-language program immerses K-4 students in English and Spanish to develop bilingual fluency.

At Blue Horizons, students set high expectation goals for mastering core subject content and connecting their learning as they explore grade-level career pathways. In the process, students build on soft skills such as critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration. Students achieve their goals by researching, designing, creating, and challenging solutions, culminating by presenting their final work to authentic audiences, including other students, teachers, parents, and community members. 

At Freedom Elementary students apply their learning by communicating via various media to publish and broadcast their work, with an emphasis on public performance. Through district curriculum integrated with communications projects, Freedom students are fully equipped for high school and beyond. Students learn to use their voice in positive ways to make their school and world a better place.

Estrella Mountain is an International Baccalaureate school that focuses on the development of the whole child through an inquiry-based learning approach that exposes children to worldwide perspectives. Estrella Mountain students have opportunities to build meaning and refine understanding through structured inquiry.

Empowering students to be leaders today and tomorrow is the goal of the Leadership program. Rainbow Valley Elementary fosters a growth mindset where the first skill children learn is to TRY, then to PERSEVERE, and ultimately SUCCEED. Through project-based learning and extra-curricular activities, students demonstrate their academic learning and leadership skills. Rainbow Valley aims to develop students as global citizens who demonstrate leadership and care for their community.

Westar features an educational program developed to prepare students for college and graduate study in the fields of science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics (STEAM). In addition to subject-specific learning, STEAM learning aims to foster inquiring minds, logical reasoning, and collaboration skills.
