LZES Math primary resource materials are now on display at the Liberty Elementary School District Office for a 60-day review

Transparency in the Liberty Elementary School District's curriculum is paramount to LESD25. Therefore, the district is inviting the community to review the quality of LZES math primary resource materials to ensure they meet district criteria.

K-8 math primary instructional resources are crucial for fostering student development in mathematics. These materials align with Arizona state standards and aid teachers in designing engaging, age-appropriate math experiences.

The following primary resource materials are now on display at the Liberty Elementary School District Office for a 60-day review: Saxon Math and Math in Focus. QR codes are provided for access to samples of the materials, so please bring your phones. After reviewing, please complete the FEEDBACK FORM.

You are invited to join the Loretta Zumbro Elementary School Mathematics Primary Resource Committee

Loretta Zumbro Elementary School will be a choice school within the Liberty Elementary School District, offering an alternative, back-to-basics, mathematics programming. The purpose of this committee is to review various resources and materials for the new campus, evaluate them, pilot them, and propose a final recommendation to our Superintendent for presentation to the Governing Board for possible approval.
 

As a committee member, your commitments would include:

  • Participating in all scheduled committee meetings

  • Determining program evaluation criteria

  • Scoring primary resources 

Our committee meetings are scheduled from 4:30-6:00 p.m. on the following dates:

  • January 23, 2025

  • January 28, 2025

  • February 6, 2025

  • March 25, 2025

  • May 1, 2025

*Please note that these dates are subject to change.

We ask that you attend all five meetings.

Pre-K primary resource materials are now on display at the Liberty Elementary School District Office for a 60-day review

Transparency in the Liberty Elementary School District’s curriculum is paramount to LESD25. Therefore, the district is inviting the community to review the quality of preschool primary resource materials to ensure they meet district criteria.

Primary instructional resources in preschool are core teaching materials designed to guide and support the learning and development of young children. These resources align with early childhood education standards and help teachers create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

The following primary resource materials are now on display at the Liberty Elementary School District Office for a 60-day review: Frog Street and Ready to Advance. QR codes are provided for access to samples of the materials, so please bring your phones. After reviewing, please complete the FEEDBACK FORM.

You're Invited to Join LESD's Pre-K Primary Resource Adoption Committee

The purpose of this committee is to review multiple resources/materials, evaluate materials, pilot materials, and propose a final resource/material to our Superintendent to present to our Governing Board for possible approval. 
 

The commitment of each committee member would include the following: 

  • Participate in all scheduled committee meetings

  • Determine evaluation criteria 

  • Score primary resources

  • Select top two resources

Our committee meetings are scheduled for 4:30-6:00 p.m. on the following dates: 

  • December 5, 2024

  • December 11, 2024

  • January 9, 2025

  • February 24, 2025

  • April 8, 2025

*Dates are subject to change
