ALL children are capable of learning and succeeding! Children learn at different rates and strategies. With the proper instruction methods,
we can create an environment where children thrive to explore, learn and succeed, both academically and emotionally.
Education should not be solely academic; the student must learn the life skills needed to be successful in solving complex problems as well as mentally preparing them for social interaction.
Instruction needs to be multi-faceted, and must reach visual learners,
auditory learners, and kinesthetic learners in the classroom.
Technology must become a priority in the classroom; we must modify our instruction priority to make basic computer coding and graphic
arts part of the S.T.E.M. platform.
I believe teachers should not be alone in educating students; Parents,
families and communities need to work together to support and enrich
the lives of their children.
